Since January 2017 Martin Sauer is, as Senior Expert in the Business Chief Digital Office Industrial Technology, responsible for Industry 4.0 related public affairs as well as labour market and social policy, in particular Work 4.0.

Martin Sauer was born in Berlin in 1984. After civilian service he was awarded a diploma in economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2010. In 2013 he completed his PhD in economics (research stays in Sweden and Austria) on the subject of intellectual property rights within the scope of social networks and globalization.

Before joining the BOSCH Group, Martin Sauer worked for different employers` associations in Germany, most recently as the responsible director for labour market issues. This included committee work at regional as well as at federal level, including being a member of several self-government bodies.
